These cookies are needed for the site to work and to keep it secure. They are always on, so we do not ask for your consent to them.

Analytics Cookies
These cookies are set only if you accept analytics cookies. They help us see which pages are used and how, so we can improve the site. We remove most of the web address before it is sent, so things like message drafts and sign-in links never reach Google.

Cookies Set by Other Services
Some services we use on particular pages may set their own cookies. They do this under their own cookie and privacy policies.
- Google reCAPTCHA checks the join, sign-in and password reset forms for bots, and may set cookies to do this.
- PayPal runs the payment form on our checkout pages, and may set cookies to process your payment and prevent fraud.
- Didit runs the age check and identity verification on its own pages, and may set cookies there.
Other Storage on Your Device
We also keep a few small items in your browser's storage. They stay on your device and are not sent to us as cookies.
- nsd:status remembers the last status of your profile, so we can count when a new profile goes live. It is only used for analytics if you accept analytics cookies.
- nsd:free carries the time you picked on the home page into the join form. It is removed once used, and when you close the tab.
- track: items and ai-referral make sure an analytics event is counted only once per visit. They are removed when you close the tab, and nothing is sent to Google unless you accept analytics cookies.
Changing Your Choice
When you first visit, we ask whether you accept analytics and marketing cookies. You can accept all, reject all, or choose each type. The two buttons carry equal weight. Until you accept, we only use essential cookies, and nothing is sent to Google Analytics.
You can change your choice at any time in Cookie settings, also linked at the bottom of every page. If you withdraw consent, we delete the Google Analytics and Google ad cookies for this site.
Browser and Device Controls for Cookies
Most browsers let you see, block and delete cookies. The steps differ from browser to browser, so check its help pages. If you block essential cookies, parts of the site, such as signing in, will not work.
You can also stop Google Analytics on every website with the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

If we start using a new cookie, we will add it to this page first. If it needs your consent, we will ask you again.
